A Travel App

Travelling can be a stressful experience for so many reasons when it doesn’t have to be. A good plan can help alleviate anxiety and stress that can be a result of too much time or too little.

An important part of any successful vacation is understanding the purpose of the trip. Planning the right activities or accommodations is completely dependent on your own interests, who you are with, and what you are looking to gain out of a new experience. To highlight and provide catered suggestions to the user, a simple but informative onboarding process is essential. The onboarding flow is simple and quick so as to not be a deterrent to using the application, while still being personal.

When searching and looking through the suggested activities, the goal of the design was to give the user enough information to be able to make informed decisions on whether or not to explore the option further while still not overwhelming the user. For this reason, the main explore page is composed of only a few images and very little text. Then when a user finds an experience of interest, they can read more while still being presented with information in an organized fashion that has a natural and logical flow.
